Turn your Proxmox Mail Gateway into a mail filtering service that you can sell. A product offers incoming protection, outgoing delivery, or both. Clients prove that they own each domain with a DNS record, then manage their spam levels, statistics and quarantine in the Paymenter client area.
Add your gateway, create a product, and Paymenter does the rest. You do no manual work on the gateway.
Each product has a direction. Incoming protection adds the relay domain, the transport and the spam rules. Outgoing delivery adds the trusted networks of the client and DKIM signing. The client area shows only the tabs that the product offers.
Nothing goes to the gateway before the client proves that they own the domain. The extension gives each domain a TXT record, and the client clicks Verify Domain. Staff can verify a domain for a client who cannot change the DNS.
The daily task checks each record again. The client gets a warning mail on the first failure and a reminder on the last day. After 7 days the service stops for that domain only, and a third mail tells the client how to start it again. A DNS resolver error never starts this sequence.
The three mails are Paymenter notification templates. Edit the subject and the text under Settings, Notifications, and switch a mail off there. Send a test mail from the admin panel of a service before your clients get it.
Set the standard spam levels and the standard TLS policy on the product. Let clients change them, or keep them fixed. The port, the protocol and the MX lookup have safe standard values in an Advanced section.

The extension marks each gateway entry with its service and never changes an entry that it did not create. It refuses mail loops, private delivery targets, private networks and networks that are too large.
The Mail Gateway panel on the service page of the admin area shows the live state of each entry, the ownership state and the statistics. Re-sync writes all entries again. The daily scheduled task repairs a missing entry.
Suspension refuses the mail of the service. Unsuspension restores it. A product change adds or removes the functions. Cancellation removes all entries of the service from the gateway.
Paymenter 1.5.x on PHP 8.2 or later, the scheduler cron and a running queue worker, the SystemFreaks Update Checker extension with an active suite license key, and a Proxmox Mail Gateway 7.x, 8.x or 9.x that Paymenter can get to on port 8006. The gateway code is tested on Proxmox Mail Gateway 9.1.

Yes. The extension marks each entry with its service, and a client sees only the data of their verified domains. For outgoing mail, the gateway trusts the network address of the sender. Thus two clients on one gateway can send mail with the domain of the other client. Sell outgoing delivery to clients that you trust, or use one gateway for each client.
The client gets a warning mail and a notice in the client area. A reminder follows on the last day. After 7 days the service stops for that domain only. When the record is back, the next daily check clears the warning.
Paymenter suspends the service, and the gateway refuses the mail of its domains. When the client pays, Paymenter unsuspends the service and the mail flows again.
Yes. Point the extension at the master node. The cluster copies the configuration to the other nodes.
Yes, as a product option for outgoing mail. Turn on DKIM signing on the gateway first. The Setup tab of the client then shows the DKIM record.
Upload the ProxmoxMail folder to extensions/Servers and enable it in the admin area. Add a server with the gateway host, the user, the password and the MX host, and click Test connection. Then create a product that uses this server and select the direction.
