Hot Gates is a tower defense game set in the Greco-Persian Wars. Build towers along the road, upgrade them between waves and keep the Persian army away from the Gate.
Tap a free spot next to the road to build. Tap a tower to upgrade it or sell it.
A wall of Spartan shields. It holds the enemy on the road.
Fast Cretan bowmen. They pick off the weak enemies.
A bolt-thrower. Its bolt goes through armour and hits the units behind.
Burning pitch. It slows and burns everything in reach.
Each chapter has five hand-made maps. Each chapter brings a new enemy or a new tower. Fight on land in narrow passes and open plains. Fight at sea, where Persian triremes row through the straits.
Darius sends his fleet to the bay of Marathon. Hold the road to Athens.
Xerxes marches on Greece. Leonidas holds the narrow pass with 300 Spartans.
The Greek fleet blocks the strait. Protect the flank of Thermopylae.
Athens burns. Themistocles pulls the Persian fleet into the straits of Salamis.
Mardonius stays in Greece with a large army. Meet him on the plain of Plataea.
The Persian fleet is on the beach at Mycale. The Greeks land and attack.
Artemisium and Salamis are sea chapters. The Persian fleet rows through the straits toward your Gate.
Stop penteconters, triremes and the Phoenician flagship before they reach the Gate.
Towers stand on land only. Pick the sand and the small islands next to the sea lanes.
Pay drachma to clear a reef and get more space to build.
After the campaign, the war never ends. Every endless level builds a new map with longer paths, more spawn points and stronger waves. The game saves your best level. How far can you hold?
