QuickBooks Sync for Blesta

Your Blesta billing and your QuickBooks Online books show the same numbers, with no exports and no double entry. Clients, invoices, payments and credits go to QuickBooks as they happen, and the payments you receive in QuickBooks can come back to Blesta.

Each client, invoice and payment arrives in QuickBooks Online on its own, with the correct item, tax and deposit account.

Customers, invoices and payments

New and changed clients become QuickBooks customers, with no duplicates. Each active invoice goes to QuickBooks with its lines, items and tax, and the QuickBooks total always matches the Blesta total. Partial payments, credits, refunds, voids and deleted transactions stay in step.

US sales tax, VAT and GST

For a US company, taxed lines go to QuickBooks with the tax amount that Blesta calculated, so QuickBooks does not calculate it again. For other countries, map each Blesta tax, or tax combination, to a QuickBooks tax code.

Payments made in QuickBooks come back

Turn on the Intuit webhook, and a payment that you receive in QuickBooks is recorded on the Blesta invoice. A daily check finds the payments that a webhook missed. The plugin never sends these payments back to QuickBooks.

A queue that never loses a change

Every change goes through a background queue that obeys the Intuit limits and tries again after a temporary error. The connection renews itself, the dashboard shows your monthly API use, and a Repair payment links tool corrects payments that QuickBooks moved to a different invoice.
